A little about me
I'm a physician trained in community medicine. Most of my work happens in villages, health centres and classrooms, trying to understand why some people stay well and others don't.
That work runs on data, and I like making data useful to people who will never read a journal. It's also how I started building software. A calculator that saves a student an hour, or a form that still works when the signal drops, is research put to use.
Away from work I watch a lot of films, follow cricket, and take photographs when something catches my eye. Writing is the newest habit, and it lives on the blog.

Cricket & sport
Cricket comes first. A slow Test session, a last-over chase, an argument over team selection: I'm there for all of it.
When there's no cricket on, I'll happily watch whatever sport is. A close contest is good drama in any form.
